About the Artist
– A very warm welcome! My name is Jodie Omstead and I am the creator of Loves by Jo.
I have been creating things since a young age – I have sewn cowboy shirts, jackets,
quilts and even a wedding dress. I created mugs, tumblers, shirts, tea towels, earrings,
bracelets and earrings. I have a passion for bringing things to life no matter what the art
form. I have been cross-stitching since the age of 9.

My designs are created from the beauty of the world. I love the paranormal, history,
folklore and mythology. I am Scottish, so I have incorporated a lot of the symbols into
my work. I come from a long line of artists, but I was the unlucky one and can’t draw or
paint, so with the assistance of AI, I can bring the ideas floating in my head to life.

I will soon have my website up and running to offer you counted cross stitch patterns.
These will include patterns from every genre, so there will be something for everyone.
